VERY IMPORTANT!!
You will first open the tab design stitch as described below, then open your monogram/embroidery
file as described below, and then reopen the tab design. Do not adjust the position of the tab design with your
up/down/left/right arrows. You will have a hard time lining the design up after you insert the monogram/embroidery
design! You are safe to adjust the position of the monogramming file….. but not the tab file.

Place sticky stabilizer on hoop and two pieces of tear away stabilizer on top. Run first set of stitches which will be your
placement line for the top fabric.

Secure the fabric to the stabilizer and run the next set of stitches to tack down the fabric. Just like you would with an
appliqué design.

Cut the fabric close to the stitching line.

RETURN HOOP TO MACHINE AND INSERT DESIGN FOR MONOGRAMMING/EMBROIDERING
RESUME TAB DESIGN AND Stitch the design to the SECOND SET OF RUNNING STITCHES!!

Stitch the placement line for the backing. Remove hoop from machine but DO NOT UNHOOP ANYTHING! Place backing
fabric right side up and secure in place with pins, tape, or 505 spray.

Run next set of stitches which will stitch the backing and front together. Remove from machine. DO NOT UNHOOP.
Trim backing close to stitching line.

Return to machine and complete project.
Punch away from stabilizer and cut the inside of the button holes.

By simply adding buttons to A-Lines, Dresses, Rompers, Shirts, and more you can create a different look with these adorable tabs!
